Today was a holiday. Not only was it Memorial day, but it was also the day I found the newest love of my life. Honeymoon!!! Unfortunately, it will be the last time I get to enjoy it until July 1st. Cody and I are starting our 30 day cleanse tomorrow.

This is what I saw as I got on the freeway to head home. It must have just happened because they were still helping the driver out of the cab. On the other side of the truck is tons of little shredded paper. They take shredding paper very seriously I guess.

Somehow, someway it worked out that we got to leave early friday and head to sand mountain. We spent the weekend lounging and relaxing in the sand with two of the greatest friends we could ever hope for. It was an amazing weekend. This was my view when I looked out the door of the trailer. Not a bad way to spend the weekend at all.

I bought a pack of bones for the Iditarod team. I did not know it was possible for a dog to inhale a bone and chomp it to smitherines in a matter of seconds, but that is just my little overachievers.
Tazzy normally does not like bones because of his delicate little mouth. He prefers fluffy soft toys he can drag around and snuggle with. Somehow he managed to steal a piece of the bone from one of the other dogs and escape into the house with it. Since then he has pretty much licked this bone into a gooey nasty little ball. I have found it buried under my pillow and at the foot of the bed. Nothing like getting in to bed and getting this squishy goodness between the toes.

It is no secret that I love sangria. Perhaps it is connected to the reason for me being mistaken as Mexican so often. Whatever the case may be, I love it. Unfortunately, I don't get to make it very often. Luckily for me, someone else does. A big ol' boobie squishing hug to you Arbor Mist. You made me a very happy lady today. While your sangria tends to be a little lighter than the high octane version I make, it was quite good and hit the spot on this warm may night.

Did it snow in Lodi? Nope, that white fluff is just the innards to one of the many of Momo's toys that have been destroyed by Jack, Ollie and Sam. They each grab a piece and pull on it until the toy explodes. Not good for me or Momo. Today, I got them bones to chew on. They lasted about a half hour. These dogs have turned into shredding machines.

This is a little gift from Momo. He had been crying and wanting out for awhile, but I was busy and kept forgetting. I guess he thought he would do his business in the bathroom....unfortunately he didnt know how to climb up on the toilet and left it in the shower instead. Luckily, he is the most well potty trained dog ever and this was mostly my fault for not letting him out. I still think it may have been Travis and he is just blaming it on the dog.

The BFF Rose was having a pretty rough day. Well, it was a pretty rough week and the weekend wasn't going to be much easier. I thought I would brighten her day by dropping these off at her house while she was at work. Hopefully, it made her smile when she got home.

Since everyone thinks we are Mexican(luckily we dont live in arizona)I figured Travis and I better celebrate Cinco de Mayo. We did that by making carne asada tacos and drinking beer. Yum Yum Yum!
