I'm sorry Mama...See, I told you I am unable to discuss my closet without paying tribute to Eminem. Anyways, here are the labels on the baskets I was thinking about making in an earlier post. They are labeled "OOH LA LA" which contains my *ahem* sexy lady clothes, H20 which is better known as bathing suits and one for Hats and bras. I think they turned out pretty cute.

DMB Concert 236/129

My wonderful friend Allyne has one of the most generous women for a MIL that I have ever met. Knowing about Allynes love for DMB she buys her tickets every summer when they are on tour in Nor Cal. This year I was lucky enough to get to join her in Marysville. We had an awesome time! We rented a pretty darn great hotel room so we could do the concert up in style and not worry about having to drive home. The night turned out pretty well and included some hilarity as is usual when the 2 of us are together. Some of those things included, opening beer bottles on the deck rail, dinner in a taxi (with most of hers on the floor!) smuggling in rum, meeting up with a friend after the show, an ass smacking discussion and a late night trip to Taco Bell. Not a bad way to kick off a weekend.

Ever since that Eminem song came out, I am unable to discuss cleaning my closet without busting out into a song. Anyways, I wanted to get started cleaning and organizing. I have already pulled out almost 4 garbage bags of clothes to be donated. I am not even close to being done, but here is a little sample. I love the cloth baskets from Target on the top shelf. I am thinking about making some cute labels on the cricut for them. Maybe by this weekend.

Allyne and I went out to Jessies Grove Winery this afternoon to look for a purse and visit with Dusty. They have a tortoise!!! What a cool little pet. Of course, I had to pet him. I wanted to steal him, but I wasn't sure how he would get along with Tazzy.

The sandrail didn't make the trip to Oregon, but that hasn't stopped them from setting a new goal. Labor Day. If Kevin manages to get his rail done, we are probably going to take a trip to sand mt.

No picture today. I am still in the process of unloading the trailer and recovering from our amazing trip. It is hard to come back to hot weather after lounging around in 60 degrees all week.

Our last full night in Oregon. We sat by the campfire drinking beer and roasting the most amazing smores. It as a bittersweet night. None of us wanted to go home and we are already looking forward to next time.

Over Hung and Under Slept. Last night was a little too much fun for all of us. We stayed up all night celebrating the big engagment. Champagne, Beer, Jello-shots and an assortment of hard alcohol. In fact, I broke my 9 year run of not touching Jaegermeister. One sip was all it took to remind me that I still haven't changed my mind about liking it.

We finally made it to Oregon and spent the entire first day relaxing...drinking...relaxing...drinking...riding...drinking...eating...drinking. You get the idea. I can't believe I get to spend the next week doing this.

I am an overprotective mama. Momo was less than thrilled about this arrangement and chose to ride in his normal seat for the entire ride to Oregon.

No picture today. I was too busy running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I have been so busy with work that I waited until the last minute to finish up all of my errands for our trip to Oregon. From noon until we Travis got home and we left at 7:30 I was running full steam ahead.

Obviously, Momo is royalty and deserves to be groomed on a regular basis. Unfortunately, his mama is not royalty and can't always get him the pampering he deserves. This does not mean that he has to look shabby. It just means we have to get creative and he gets his hair "did" at home.

Dinner at Sissy's 211/154

I went to Jen's house for dinner where she made a fabulous salad for dinner. We then worked on some wedding details and I went home and crashed in bed. No picture today.

Tonight we had dinner with our other family, the Culbertsons. After working on the sand rail while Liz and I swam all day, we all joined Janene, Darrell, Katie and Justin at Haru for sushi. It's always great to spend time with them.
